As forensic nursing is on the horizon in Arkansas, this leadership award honors a forensic nurse in our state who leads change within communities and helps to foster growth of forensic nursing.
Anyone can nominate an AFNA member for the awards. These awards are presented to the recipient at our annual AFNA conference.

The Core Values Award goes to a nurse who embodies ALL of the core values as a forensic nurse.
The Horizon Award goes to a nurse who is dedicated to advancing the field of forensic nursing in Arkansas. This nurse represents leadership skills to charge ahead and create forensic nursing in our communities.
